Burns Podiatric Laboratory (BPL) came into existence in 1969 because of a demand for service in the Midwest. After years of operation, we are now serving Podiatrists in all 50 states and several foreign countries. We are proud that most of our growth has come from recommendations by fellow podiatrists.Our Laboratory Technicians have a combined expertise of over 350 years in orthotic manufacturing. Eastern Podiatry Laboratory (EPL) was formed in 1973 by Thomas M. McGuigan, DPM. Dr. McGuigan recognized that there was a need for a small to medium size laboratory on the East Coast to fill the needs of the podiatry community.
